Hi all and welcome to my blog.
First of all a bit about me.
- I'm in my 20's.
- I live next to the beach.
- I don't do drugs, but I enjoy beers in the sun with good people.
- I'm about as mellow as it comes.
I live my life by staying relaxed and not stressing about things that are not in my control. I've always lived my life by this principle and never understood why people would get themselves into such a state of stress and anxiety that caused them to lose sight of the reality, that things, generally, are never really that bad. Everything's fixable, if not right away, in time they certainly are.
On the other side, people would go nuts at me for appearing lazy, 'not caring' or not putting enough effort in. I try to live my life by the concept of efficiency. If something needs done, it doesn't mean you need to be visually SEEN to be working on it. Myself and millions of others are masters of sitting at a desk 'appearing' to work, when really we're on hotmail, texting or on the phone to friends.
I know when I'm not at my creative best. I know when, if I sat down and tried to 'knuckle down' and get something done, it's going to take me twice, three times as long to finish something then if I let my mind have it's fresh air, finish having a laugh then get onto finishing the project.
I've found, that if you're not seen to be going about things the same way as others do, you're 'plain wrong' in their minds.
For the one's who show the aptitude to potentially understand how I work. I simply say 'There's method in the madness'. Give them a smile; And from then on there's a mutual understanding between the two parties that there's a mysterious way I do things and I know I appear to be going about things different, but when something's due, I deliver. (Well as much as humanly possible given that we are not perfect... which I guess in a ironic way, gives everyone else the ammo they need to again be convinced that my system does not work. Funny really, when you play the numbers game of the way we should 'all be seen to be working', an overwhelming number of people on their side of the fence don't get things done on time.)
